Barney James Dreggors "BJ"

"BJ' Barney Dreggors, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2021 after a short illness. Born on September 3, 1934 in Oviedo, Fl, to Marion James Dreggors and Susie Ann Baxter-Dreggors, both previously promoted to glory. He will be missed by many and will always be loved and remembered for his loving personality and contagious smile. "BJ" was a self- employed and retired heavy equipment business owner and will be forever remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He loved life in general and enjoyed each moment to the fullest. He enjoyed being on the St. John's River and grilling for and with many who will treasure those moments with those he loved. He loved music, dancing and his family and friends. A lifetime resident of Geneva "BJ" is survived by his loving wife Kerry Irene Dreggors, who shared together a loving marriage that transened for 47 years;  his sister, Dale Sanchez, and sister-in-law Meredith Dreggors; his son Perry Dreggors (Dotti) and his step-children, Pat Smith, Peter Harrison, William Harrison, and Kerry Welborn (David), along with 3 grandchldren, BJ Marlin Dreggors, Layne Burkett-Dreggors, Stuart Freyermuth, and step-great grandchildren, Josh and Michael Pressley, Pete and Ashley Harrison, William, Rachel (Jesse), Kristin, Sarah, Brandon, and Garrett Harrison, Pat, Jamie and Jennifer Smith, and Nicholas Caruthers, as well as a great grand-daughter Ella Grace and numerous step great-grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews, extended family and friends all of which he loved deeply. He is predeceased by his parents, Tammy Dreggors Freyermuth (Daughter), Marion Donald Dreggors (Brother), Ann Dreggors Evans (Sister), Kernest Sanchez and Charles Evans (Brother-in-Laws), Debbie Caruthers (Stepdaughter) along with many friends and loved ones. A visitation will take place Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 12 noon, in the beautiful chapel of Peoples Funeral Home, 1001 E. 25th Street, Sanford, Fl 32771; Karen Y. Peoples, LFDIC; Interment will take place at Geneva Cemetery, immediately after Visitation; Followed by food and fellowship at Fort Lane Park, Geneva, Fl.
