Edith Copeland

Edith Copeland, 93, born April 1, 1927 to Major Stevens and Katie Wright-Stevens, in Sheldon, South Carolina, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 surrounded by the peaceful presence of her loving family. Mother Copeland was a Laborer in her earlier days, after high school,  and with all of her heart, she took very good care of her family, whom she loved, and they loved her very much, knowing that she will be greatly missed by all. She leaves to cherish her memory, 5 beautiful daughters, Barbara A. Crawley, Jestine Trusty Anderson, Katie Stevenson, Lorraine Wright and Joyce Robinson; 1 Sister, Daisey Stevens: 2 sons, Lee Andrew Stevens, and Solomon Stevens; and a host of Grand-children, Great-Grandchildren, and other loving family members, church family, neighbors and friends. She was pre-ceded in death by her 2 sons, Abraham Copeland and Willie Robert Stevens. A Celebration of Life Service will take place Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Bethel Independent Free Methodist Church, 303 E. Jackson St, Mt. Dora, Fl;  Service entrusted into the compassionate hands of Peoples Funeral Home; 1001 E. 25th, Street, Sanford, Fl 32771; Karen Y. Peoples, LFDIC; Interment; Edgewood, Cemetery, Mt. Dora, Fl;
