Sergeant First Class Miguel Rios Santana, Retired U.S. Army, 64, born April 12, 1956 in Yauco, Peurto Rico to Cefel and Virgen Santana, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 in Sanford, Florida. Miguel was a Honorable Veteran, and served two Military branches, U.S. Marines, and the U.S. Army. Outside of his dedicated Military Service to his country, Miguel was just a down to earth quiet man, that loved listening to Christmas music, and watching his favorite movies on TV. Miguel leaves to cherish his memory, his lovely wife, Margie Rios, 2 beautiful daughters, Jasmine, and Josephine; 1 brother, Ralph Rios, 2 Sisters, Ramona Rios, and Rosie Rios; And His very best friend and Brother in Christ, Casualty Officer & POC, Lawrence V. Rivera, who has been close to the family for decades; and a host of other family members and friends; A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 1pm, at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Fl; Arrangements are entrusted into the compassionate hands of Peoples Funeral Home, 1001 E. 25th, Sanford, Fl 32771.
