Normie Kane

Normie has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 20+ years.  She is a member of the Academy of Clinical Social Workers, and has been a Certified Addiction Professional in Florida since 1996.  She is a Certified Hypnotherapist and has used hypnosis for weight loss, smoking cessation, but most important for pain management. Normie consistently strives for excellence on a daily basis, her energy and enthusiasm are far above average; and her sense of humor is often visible. Spirituality and a search for meaning are at the core of her clinical work.  Her verbal and written communication are excellent, as evidenced by her 14 published articles. During her 8 years of employment at the University of Miami School of Medicine, she developed advanced knowledge and skill in helping develop and implement social work interventions, so that measurement of effectiveness and improvement of outcomes could be established..
