Reverend Eddie Martin

Reverend Eddie Martin, 83, born June 29, 1938 in Sanford, Florida, to James and Eldora Martin, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, in the presence of his loving Family. Rev. Martin attended the Seminole County Public Schools, followed by his dedicated extended career in the United States Army where he served 20 years as a E-7 Drill Sgt. After retirement from the Army, he worked for 20 years in the banking business. Rev. Martin still had a great zeal for success and hard work, so he became the owner and entrepreneur of his own business, "Martin Cleaning Service which he worked for 19 years. Reverend Martin was the founder of "We Care Bridging Gaps" and was dedicated to serving the Community tirelessly helping many people, and giving of his self and his time. Rev. Martin was a faithful member of Morning Glory MBC, under the leadership of Bishop Jimmie Blake, Pastor.  Eddie Martin was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eldora Dunlap-Martin; 7 brothers, James Jr, Jessie, Henry, Sam, Charlie, Archie Lee, and Willie Lee; 4 Sisters, Ola Bell Martin,-Robinson, Ruthy Mae Martin-Williams, Eula Mae Martin-Doston and Dora Martin, His first Wife of 49 years, Altamease White-Martin, and one daughter, Felicia Washington. He leaves to cherish his memory, His loving and Devoted wife, Frances Davis-Martin, of Sanford. Fl, Daughters, Jacqueline(Thomas)Pullins, of Riviera Beach, FLorida; Janet Hall, of Sanford, FL; Toni Blair, of Jacksonville, Florida; Deneice(Christopher)Lemon and PeAngela(Dem)Davis; all of Sanford, FLorida; 14 grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members, friends, and church family.
